Good news – We are starting the New Year out in the right way. We have scheduled and completed arrangements taking place January through April 2010. They are as follows:

Associates Show at the Scarsdale Girl Scouts House
Receiving: Saturday, Jan 9, 9:30 – 11:00 am.
Reception: Sunday Jan. 17, 1 - 5:00 PM.
Guest Speaker, Patti Mollica, will give a demonstration on teaching painting fast and bold.
Removal: Saturday, Jan 30, 9:30 – 11:00 am.

Exhibit at the Scarsdale Girl Scout House
Receiving: Saturday, Feb 6, 9:30 – 11:00 am.
Reception: Sunday, Feb. 14, 1 - 5:00 pm.
Guest Speaker, David Dunlop, will speak about Turner’s painting technique of changing from watercolor to oil on subjects of the old masters from DaVinci through Titian as well as the works of the Hudson River School artists. He will also speak on the skill necessary to deliver one’s vision.
Removal: Saturday, Feb. 27, 9:30 -11:00 am.

Spring Show at the Scott Room at the Scarsdale Public Library
Receiving: Saturday, March 6, 9:30 – 11:00 am.
Reception: Sunday, March 7, 1 -5:00 pm.
Guest Speaker, Andrew Lattimore, will present a slide demonstration via his laptop computer. His main subject will cover portraiture and the techniques used by the masters and offer practical tips for our own efforts.
Removal: Saturday, March 27, 9:30 – 11:00 am.

Annual Dinner and Exhibit at the Scarsdale Girl Scout House
Receiving: Monday, April 5, 9:30 – 11:00 am.
Election of Officers: Saturday, April 17, 5:30 – 6:00 pm,
Followed by cocktails 6 pm and Annual Dinner at 7 pm.
Removal: Saturday, April 24, 9:30 – 11:00 am.
